There’s sod all in me kitchen, what am I gonna do?

Thanks to a rather persistent leak, we find ourselves living in somewhat of a building site at present.  We await some damp specialists who will be treating the wall and floors you can see have been expertly stripped down – after which we undergo a process of putting right.

.. hang on, it was there when I left the house!…

Mysterious shadows move beyond the screens, only to be revealed as furniture upon further examination..

To minimise the impact of the damp treatment – it makes the house seem like the end of ET…

The wall is down to blocks, there are floorboards missing – not ideal!

That, ladies and gentleman, is the planet earth under my house!

Salvagable things from the kitchen awaiting reaffixment..

Given that we don’t have a shower any kitchen facilities of note beyond a kettle, toaster and microwave at present, it’s going to be a long few weeks, methinks!!
